Humming-Bird.

Learning the walls of my own skull.

The slow unraveling of fight or flight.

The way the peace sits on my chest.

Light as a feather.

Her in the collapse

I gave myself permission to be nothing.

Permission to….

To stand still.

To respond and not react.

To be who I was before the bough broke.

And with that nothing I became something.

Such a beautiful something.

I can see the blue in my eyes again.

I find myself humming….

Find myself.

Again.

Humming.

Again.
